The child has one intuitive aim: self development

Dear Parents/Guardians,

I hope this email finds you all well. Yesterday the Department of Education and Skills confirmed that all primary schools including Scoil Mhuire mount Sackville  will be closed until 1st February 2021. The school will be moving to remote learning for all pupils from next week.

We will be using our Seesaw digital platform to engage with the pupils during school closure. Teachers will ensure that the pupil’s learning and well-being is maintained during the next 3 weeks. We ask you to familiarise yourself again with Seesaw over the next few days as this will be the platform teachers will be using to communicate with you and your child from next week.

The school will facilitate book collections next Monday morning in the staff car park. If it is raining we will have the book bag collection just outside the front door. Please come only at your appointed time which is available below. Only one adult is allowed to collect books and social distancing must be maintained at all times. Parents must park in lower car park and can not park in the staff car park. We ask you not to bring children with you if possible and if completely necessary to leave them in the car while doing the collection. Parents may collect books for siblings in the one time slot. As soon as parents have collected the books for their child they must immediately depart. There is to be no congregation at any time. Health and Safety of all is imperative. I thank you in advance for your co-operation with this.

I hope you and all your family stay safe and well at this time.

Kind Regards,

Ms. O’ Kelly
