Seachtain na Gaeilge

Scoil Mhuire is celebrating Seachtain na Gaeilge from March 9th-13th. Every day an Irish phrase is called out over the intercom for all students to practice in their daily conversation. Classes are also engaging in activities from the seachtain na gaeilge website www.snag.ie. On Wednesday we had a wonderful Céilí organised by Ms. Corrigan where every class got to display their irish dancing. On Thursday we had our school ceolchoirm in the hall for all classes where children were entertained with irish song, music and dance. This was also a Lá Glas where children were allowed to wear something green.
