World Book Day was celebrated in Scoil Mhuire on March 5th. Children dressed up as their favourite character from a book and brought their book with them to tell their class all about their character and their book. All the staff dressed up as one of the crayons from Oliver Jeffers lovely story “The Day The Crayons Came Home” and read it aloud for the children in the hall. This was a hugely enjoyable experience for all the staff and children. At Scoil Mhuire we continue to promote a love for reading and books at all ages.
